"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

As a professional concept artist would you say that it is important to know a little about 3D modeling and also how hard was it for you to break into the industry?
Hey there Sam, I think it is important and makes the job a little easier to atleast know the basics of 3d modelling, I sometimes use google sketchup for defining an areas dimensions and basic structure.
To break into the industry you have to have a good portfolio above all else. So maby grab a domain name for yourslef and get working on your best work.
